How to prepare your children academically and mentally for the PSLE exam?

Is Your child’s examination ahead ?. Are you worried about your child’s mental health during the examination? So here we go with some of the tips that help you to prepare your children academically and mentally for the PSLE exam.

1. Motivation:

Your children need a lot of motivation and importantly appreciation during the examination time. Never scare them with failures. Make sure that you will be guiding them throughout all their success and failures

2. Set Goals:

As a parent, you know your children’s strengths and weaknesses. Take steps together. Support your child at each step. Start setting goals together. Fix a maximum number of marks or grades that your child can obtain. Help them to achieve.

3. Get Breaks:

Take breaks at regular intervals. You can use the Pomodoro technique (Pomodoro technique increases productivity. 25 minutes of focussed work and break after that, helps the child to complete the syllabus without overwhelming).

4. Revision time:

Although children are studious, they still require some time to revise what they have studied. Give proper time for revisions. Revisions help you to go through what you have studied

5. Last-minute preparation:

Avoid last-minute preparations. Last-minute preparations confuse a lot and there is a chance of forgetting the other chapters you have covered up. So make sure your child revises the chapters that he/she already studied.
